Description:
This invention reports an optimization to the principle of gas lift to increase oil production using a gas lift system. Gas lift is an artificial lift that uses external sources of high-pressure gas to supplement formation gas in order to lift the well fluid. This invention reports the optimum design as reducing the amount of stem travel required to generate flow area equivalent to the port area. Further, the reported design addresses the issue of bellows efficiency and can circumvent the lack of it in current systems' gas lift valve performance.
Reference Number: D-1308
